1.Kuldhara Village

Kuldhara is abandoned in the Jaisalmer district of Rajasthan, India. Kuldhara is 17 kilometers from west of Jaisalmer. In 13th century Kuldhara is well settled village inhabitate of Paliwal Brahmins. Currently Kuldhara is abandoned Village hide in a mystery. Kuldhara is considered one of the most haunted places in India and people say this village is abandoned overnight.

This is story that everyone tells about Kuldhara – In old times Paliwal Brahmins live in this village and Salim Singh is the Minister of the state. Salim Singh desire to marriage with Village cheif daughter and in the fear of persecution and forced marriage, whole village peoples left Kuldhara overnight for their honor. Another story about this village is that Minister imposes high taxes on the people and shortage of water which makes people to leave Kuldhara.

Tourism – Now Kuldhara is a tourism spot and The Archaeological Survey of India (ASI) has declared it a protected site. Kuldhara village gate opens at 8am in the morning and close 5pm in the evening. Lots of tourists are attracted to this village because of mysterious story.

2.Bhangargh Fort

Bhangargh fort is situated in the Alwar district of Rajsthan. Bhangargh fort is built in 1573 by Bhagwant Das, a ruler of Amber, for his younger son, Madho Singh. Fort is 50 kilometers from Sariska Sanctuary, between Jaipur and Alwar. This fort is surrounded by Aravali hills.

There are 2 famous stories about Bhangarh fort-

Story 1 : Local people tells that Fort become Haunted because of curse of Tantrik. It is said that a tantrik names Singhia fell in love with Ratnavati princess of Bhangarh. Tantrik knows that he had no chance of her, so Tantrik performe black magic to get her. However, Ratnavati saw his plan and caused his death. But before the death Tantrik Cursed the area and people believe that because of his curse Bhangarh ruin.

Story 2 : This is another story famous between the locals that when King Bhagwant Das making the fort there is a yogi named Ballunath lives. Guru Ballunath called the King and said that don’t make the fort so high that it shadow cover my meditation place and King agree to Ballunath. But the 3rd generation of King Bhagwant das don’t take this seriously and make the fort more higher and now the shadow of fort reached to Guru Ballunath. In his anger he cursed the place. And from that this place is never settel again.

Tourism – Bhangarh fort is open from 6 am to 6 pm in the evening. Outside the fort there is board by the government on which it clearly mention that no one is aloud to inside the fort after the 6pm in the evening. You have to buy a entry ticket of 40rupees and 200 rupees for international tourists.

3.Jagatpura

It is believed by the local peoples that in the midnight many people see lady standing on the road wearing red lehenga asking for lift to strangers. If anyone stop their vechicle for the help of lady then some paranormal activity will happen with driver. Many peoples traveling through this road says that they see a lady on the road asking for lift. Local peoples avoid this road in night.

Story behind this incident is that – There is lady who’s marriage is fix with a person and she don’t want to do, so on her wedding day she runs from her home in wedding lehenga and when she crossing the road some truck driver accidently hit her. And people believed that from that day these paranormal activities starts happening. This is one of most haunted place in Rajsthan therefore this is present in our list of Rajasthan की 5 भूतिया जगह.

4.Nahargarh Fort

Story goes when Maharaja Sawai Madho Singh decided to build the Nahargarh fort in 18th century. According the local people the spirit of Nahar singh Bhumia haunts the fort. People said that while workers building the fort, workers wake up and find that their previous day work is destroyed. Local people believed that the destruction is due to prince Nahar singh Bhumia. Fort is originally called to Sudarshangarh but later named as Nahargarh Fort because Nahar Sigh Bhumia Haunts this place. There for this fort is in our list of”Rajasthan की 5 भूतिया जगह”.

5.Rana Kumbha Palace

This palace is situated in Chittorgarh, Rajasthan and considered haunted by the local peoples.

The famous story about the fort between the locals is when Alauddin Khilji attacked the palace in 1303, Rani Padmini and 700 women perform Zohar to protect their honor. Zohar is bascially self-immolation and this is done by 700+ womens that day at single time. And people believed that from that time this palace is haunted. Visitors tells that they hear sounds and experience paranormal activities inside the Palace.
