By Air

By Train
There is no direct railconnectivity between two regions. You can take Delhi to Gorakhpur train and then take bus to Sunauli. This is one of cheapest option for our Nepal budget trip.
By Road
Delhi to Kathmandu is 1177.6 kilometers. First take a bus to Gorakhpur and then from Gorakhpur you get direct bus to Kathmandu. Delhi to Gorkhpur local bus fare is INR 600 rupees/person and from Gorakhpur to Kathmandu is INR 2,000 – 2,500 rupees. Fare may depend on luxury of bus or your seat preference.
