Brahma Sarovar
Brahma Sarovar is one of the largest man man lake in asia which holds immense spiritual significance. It is located on the land of Mahabharat –Kurukshetra in Haryana. Kurukshetra city is one of the most famous Pilgrimage sites in Haryana and this place is deeply intertwined with Hindu mythology and history.

As it’s name there is a story that lord Brahma(Hindu god) created whole world from Kurukshetras land. And it is believed that this is the place where Lord Krishna imparted the teachings of the Bhagavad Gita to Arjuna during the war(Mahabharat). People say’s that taking a dip in holy water of sarovar can heal any illness and taking a dip on Solar eclipse( ग्रहण ) is considered eqaul to performing thousands of Asvamedha yajnas.
A monumental is made in the middle of the Sarovar which is dedicated to a scene in Mahabharat where Arjuna and Shri Krishna sitting on the रथ. ब्रह्मा sarovar attracts lot of tourists from world wide and tourists spends many hours watching reddish and golden reflection of sun in water. There is temple between the sarovar dedicated to lord shiva any one can see by crossing a little bridge.
