Badrinath dham kapat closed on 17 november 2023 in evening. All the temple is decorated with 20 quintal flowers. This gate closing ceremony runs for 5 days, In these 5 days people worships their gods and finally fifth day the gate is closed. मांगा village mangal dal group womens prepares wool blanket dipped in ghee and these blanket round arounds the badrinath statue. People believes that if when the gate of temple open and they found ghee left in the blanket or around the badrinath then the whole year is very holly for everyone and if ghee not found then some tragedey may come in the year.
Now the kapat will open after the winnters or approxymately after 6 months.
बद्रीनाथ धाम का कपाट 17 नवंबर 2023 को शाम में बंद हो गया। सारे मंदिर को 20 क्विंटल फूलों से सजाया गया। इस कपाट बंदी के कार्यक्रम का पूरा 5 दिनों तक चलता है, जिसमें लोग अपने देवताओं की पूजा करते हैं और आखिरकार पाँचवें दिन कपाट बंद किया जाता है। मांगा गाँव की मंगल दल समूह की महिलाएँ ऊन की कंबलों को घी में डालकर तैयार करती हैं और इन कंबलों को बद्रीनाथ की मूर्ति के आस-पास बाँधती हैं। लोग मानते हैं कि जब मंदिर का कपाट खुलेगा और अगर वहाँ कंबल में या बद्रीनाथ के आस-पास घी मिला तो पूरे साल सभी के लिए बहुत ही पवित्र होगा और अगर घी नहीं मिला तो साल में कोई दुर्घटना हो सकती है।
अब कपाट शीतकाल के बाद खुलेगा, या लगभग 6 महीने बाद।
